Most couples book Chatsworth 12–18 months in advance, and spring and fall weekends fill the fastest. That said, we occasionally have last-minute availability — it never hurts to reach out. We kindly ask that all tours be scheduled in advance; please do not drop by without an appointment. Contact us to check your date and schedule a private tour.

A deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve your chosen date. This deposit is non-refundable and holds your date exclusively for you. The remaining balance is due per the terms outlined in your venue contract.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is outlined in full in your venue contract. We encourage all couples to review it carefully and consider event insurance to protect their investment. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

At this time we do not offer payment plans. The $1,000 deposit reserves your date, with the remaining balance due according to your contract terms. We recommend budgeting accordingly and reaching out to discuss your specific situation.

You may schedule your rehearsal the evening before your wedding for up to 2 hours. We also offer rehearsal dinner service in the Chatsworth Gallery. Contact us for menu and pricing details.

Chatsworth can accommodate up to 300 guests outdoors under the Brass Chandelier Pavilion, or up to 160 guests indoors in the Cristella Veranda Pavilion. Tent rental is also available for larger guest lists (additional $800–$3,000). Micro wedding packages are available for groups up to 50.

In the event of rain, we move your ceremony into the Cristella Veranda Pavilion. We typically set up a few rows of chairs for immediate family — parents, grandparents, and siblings — while remaining guests are seated at reception tables. This creates more time for celebrating and less time flipping the room.

We have ample on-site parking available for all guests, included in every package. Security is also provided. For larger events we recommend arranging a shuttle from a nearby hotel so guests can fully enjoy the evening.

All events at Chatsworth must conclude by midnight. Additional hours can be added to your package at $450 per hour up to that limit.

Pets are welcome to attend the ceremony but must be kept on a leash at all times. No pets are permitted to remain on the property after the ceremony, and pets are not allowed in the Marguerite Guest House.

We have relationships with a number of outstanding local photographers, caterers, florists, and DJs who are familiar with our property and share our commitment to excellence. We're happy to share our recommendations. Just ask during your tour or consultation.

Catering and bar service are in-house only — no outside caterers or outside alcohol are permitted on the property. Vendors for cake, music, flowers, photography, photobooths, and lighting are welcome and may make deliveries from 8am on the day of the event. All personal vendor items must be removed the night of the event.

Chatsworth Plantation provides all catering and bar service in-house. No outside caterers or alcohol are allowed on the property. We offer a full range of southern cuisine packages — from light small plate options to multi-course Louisiana spreads — as well as bar packages from soft drinks to full top-shelf service. All alcohol is in-house only — no outside alcohol may be brought onto the property by the wedding party or guests. If outside alcohol is found on the property, those involved will be asked to leave. We provide up to 3 in-house bartenders depending on guest count, and offer bar packages starting at $10 per guest for non-alcoholic service up to full top-shelf bar at $65+ per guest.

A Chatsworth team member will be on-site throughout your event to manage the property. We also provide parking and security as part of every package. We recommend scheduling a venue tour so we can walk you through exactly what to expect on your wedding day.

Vendors may make deliveries and begin setup from 8am on the day of your event. All personal vendor items must be removed from the property the same night, unless the wedding party is staying in the Marguerite Guest House — in that case, pickup may occur the following day.

All events and guests must vacate by midnight. Couples and guests staying in the Marguerite Guest House or CarolAnn Cottage are welcome to remain on property overnight. Vendor breakdown and pickup must be completed the same evening unless prior arrangements have been made.

The Marguerite Guest House is available to book separately from your venue package. The 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom house is $1,550 per night plus tax and is reserved exclusively for the immediate family of the bride and groom. The CarolAnn Cottage is also available at $250 per night plus tax.

The Marguerite House has 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. It is exclusively reserved for the wedding couple and their closest family or wedding party — no outside bookings are taken during your event.

Absolutely — that is one of the most magical parts of staying at the Marguerite House. The entire wedding party can arrive together, get ready together, and walk out onto the grounds already surrounded by the beauty of Chatsworth. It makes for the most incredible getting-ready photos.

The Marguerite House comes fully furnished with linens, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the comforts of a private home. You'll have exclusive access to the property from check-in through Sunday morning checkout. Specific inclusions are outlined in your package details.
